Katherine Hernandez receives a Travel for Technique award from the American Association of Immunologist.

The American Association of Immunologists Travel for Techniques Award is a travel support program that covers the cost of travel to learn a technique not available at the institution of the applicant. Award recipients receive $1500 for travel expenses to learn a new technique from a researcher in a different institution. This award will allow Katherine to learn the lysolecithin induced demyelination model from Dr. Jeffrey Huang an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at Georgetown University.
