Dr. Sterling Ortega receives an Early-Stage Investigator Grant

Dr. Ortega received a one year pilot grant from the Research Enhancement Assistant Program (REAP) at UNHTSC. The grant will be used to develop cerebral organoid technology in the Ortega lab. This technology will be used to evaluate neuronal /. Immune interaction in neuroinflammatory diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis and stroke.
